Profession of Faith
PRIMATE
To be made by those elected or nominated in the office Of BISHOP In the Church of God in valid apostolic succession in accordance to the Constitution, Canons and Rules of the Church of India, Pakistan, Burma and Ceylon.
The Faith of the Apostles
We believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all that is seen and unseen. We believe in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten not made, one in Being with the Father. Through Him all things were made. For us men and for our salvation, he came down from heaven by the power of the Holy Spirit he became incarnate of the virgin Mary, and became man. For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate, he suffered death and was buried. On the third day he rose again in accordance with the Scripture, He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end. We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son. With the Father and the Son he is worshiped and glorified. He has spoken through the Prophets. We believe in one Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church. We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins. We look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come. Amen.

Faith in Holy Scripture
With firm faith, We also believe that the word of God revealed in the Old and New Testament contains all things necessary for Salvation.

Teaching Office of Bishops
In fulfilling the charge entrusted to us in the name of the Church. We shall hold fast to the deposit of faith in its entirely, we shall faithfully hand it on and explain it, and we shall avoid any teaching contrary to it.

Affirmation of Saint Louis
And we furthermore hold with a steady and firm faith the doctrine and moral teaching of the Affirmation of Saint Louis. "In the firm conviction that " we shall be saved through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ," and that "there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved," and acknowledging our duty to proclaim Christ' s saving Truth to all peoples, nations and tongues, We declare our intention to hold fast the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Faith of God.

We acknowledge that rule of faith laid down by St. Vincent of Lerins "Let us hold that which has been believed everywhere, always and by all, for that is truly and properly Catholic."
